In today’s troubled times, it is easy to feel overwhelmed or anxious. With the increase in violent attacks, troubling world news, and personal trials that affect us, even the strongest Christians sometimes find themselves struggling.

The Lord Is Your Strength

As a Christian, you can find encouragement through many sources such as pastors, Godly friends and family members, and your church. It’s important, however, to remember that the ultimate source of all of your strength must always be the Lord.

1.) Psalm 46:1-3
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
